Have your say

We have listened and continue to listen to the views and concerns of our communities. This proposed model of care has been developed following a review of midwifery care which has involved hundreds of women and their families, professionals, members of the public, including seldom heard groups.

Everyone will be able to have their say on the proposed changes to midwifery care through a public consultation. It is important that we hear the views of our population across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, to help us make decisions about changes to the way we deliver midwifery care. Once the public consultation has closed, all responses will be analysed by independent consultation specialists who will produce a final report. No decision will be made until after the end of the consultation, when we have considered everything you have told us and taken all the feedback into account.

Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group will make a final decision at a Joint Committee of the two CCGs. The Joint Committee will be a meeting held in public, allowing you to hear the discussion and the reasons for the decisions taken.

All reports and details on the decision-making process will be available in our key documents section.
