Menopause support app launched by ICS People Team

The People Team at Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System (ICS) are excited to announce the launch of a new menopause app to support colleagues.

Peppy is an app that creates a safe space where people can talk about all their menopause symptoms, concerns and treatment options with highly trained and accredited expert menopause practitioners. The app offers instant messaging with healthcare practitioners, individual phone consultations and weekly live broadcast events. A library of articles, podcasts and mental wellbeing resources are also accessible at any time.

The app is for use by NHS staff as well as colleagues in primary care and local authorities. It provides instant, confidential and personal support for women experiencing this challenging time.

Natalie Noton, Project Manager for the ICS People Team, says “I’m delighted to introduce all ICS colleagues to the Peppy app. We hope it will support the wellbeing of our workforce, and provide a new kind of wellbeing offer that’s suitable for the digital age we live in. By having an app on your phone, advice for menopause symptoms and peer support is available instantly 24/7. We hope our workforce will benefit from personalised support in your pocket!”

To access the app, please complete this signup form.

Please spread the word amongst your colleagues across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System.
