Lisa trained as a Pharmacist at Aston University and qualified as a pharmacist in 2011.

Lisa has worked as a clinical pharmacist for the past 2 years. Her key roles include delivering Structured Medication Reviews as part of the Network Contract DES and providing support for newly employed Clinical Pharmacists. Lisa is currently working as a Clinical PCN Pharmacist for Wrekin PCN.

Prior to this Lisa was a Community Pharmacist at Boots for 10 years. During this time she was involved in a variety of leadership and mentoring roles and involved with healthy living campaigns across Birmingham and the Black Country. 

Lisa has completed the CPPE Primary Care Pathway, a requirement for PCN Pharmacists, and at present she is completing her Independent Prescribing at Manchester University and hopes to qualify in March 2023.

Lisa has just started her journey as a Clinical Pharmacist Facilitator for STW. She has a passion for training and development and is looking forward to supporting Clinical Pharmacists across Shropshire Wrekin & Telford.  

Lisa’s aim is to support and provide advice on recruiting Clinical Pharmacists. She will provide a network for both newly recruited and experienced Clinical Pharmacists to discuss concerns and questions and improve clinical knowledge and confidence. She strives to grow the Clinical Pharmacist role safely and efficiently and to demonstrate what a Clinical Pharmacist has to offer in Primary Care.
