The booking process

  • Employees need to complete the e-Learning module before booking to attend a webinar. Click on the following link to access the e-Learning module:  Learning Portal (mel-lms.online)
  • All CQC registered organisations are responsible for ensuring that their staff are informed about which Tier of training they need to complete.
  • To help managers understand which tier of the training may be relevant to their staff, they should refer to The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism:  The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism: Tier guidance for employers. This is necessary because, as part of the booking process, employees will be required to answer the following question: ‘Which Tier have you been advised to complete by your organisation?’  The answer to this question will determine which Tier of training the employee can book to attend.
  • If managers would like to ensure their staff are automatically enrolled onto the correct Tier of training, they can arrange this by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

To note:

  • Places on the online webinars will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and wait lists will be created.
  • There is currently limited training capacity with a proactive strategy to increase over the coming months.

Delivery of the Tier 2 facilitated one day training course is planned from January 2024.  We will notify you as soon as dates become available.
