This course will be delivered by East Cheshire NHS Trust, and is free of charge.
By the end of this session you will:
- Understand who would use medical terminology and why
- Be able to deconstruct medical terminology in order to understand its meaning
- Identify commonly used medical terms and understand their use in practice
- Discuss the pro’s and con’s of using abbreviations
